Design Trail

‘Rebel Rebel’ theme
with Squire and Partners

'Rebel Rebel' theme, Squire and Partners decided to explore the relationship people have with public spaces. Creating an interactive art installation with local art and street furniture. I worked with Squire and Partners to create a mural called ‘Rebel squad’ the artwork was inspired by the woman who are fighting and rebelling against oppression. Their stories rarely get shared, but they continue to fight for the future generation.

Highlighting the voices of black women

A platform where black art can be seen and celebrated. Black Blossoms,
an exhibition highlighting the voices of black women. My piece called Spiderwomen/Black mums are superheroes - With great power comes great responsibility was featured in the successful exhibition at UAL Holborn.

The Street Gallery

A temporary street gallery for the launch of the first Brixton Design Trail.
The gallery celebrates local artists and designers. I worked alongside Squire and Partners to create a mural that celebrates the fusion of cultures that make brixton the unique place it is.

Unmasked Women

Focussing on mental health as it relates to a community that has long seemed to struggle with acknowledging and understanding psychological wellness, the first Unmasked Women exhibition kicked off in London in September 2016. Two of my pieces was featured in the exhibition. I also created a live piece of art during the first night of the show.
